  • 1 lb. stew beef or 1-inch cubes of sirloin
  • 3 Tbsp. flour
  • 1 tsp. paprika
  • 1/2 tsp. onion salt
  • 3 Tbsp. shortening
  • 1 (4 oz.) can mushrooms
  • 1/2 c. bouillon or 2 cubes
  • orange juice plus mushroom liquid to equal 1 c.

Directions

    Mix flour and dry ingredients.

    Coat meat cubes.

    Use any remaining flour as thickening after browning beef.

    Add liquids and mushrooms and simmer 2 hours.
