- 2 tsp. baking powder
- 1 stick margarine or butter
- 1 egg
- 3/4 c. sugar
- milk (for consistency)
- 1/2 c. raisins
Directions

1Mix flour, baking powder, butter or margarine, egg, sugar, raisins and enough milk to form a ball (soft and doughy).

2Roll out dough on floured surface. Cut with 3-inch glass approximately 1/2-inch thick.

3Bake at 350° for 10 to 12 minutes or until lightly brown.

4Makes 12 scones.
