Ingredients
- 1/2 cake yeast
- 1/2 c. lukewarm water
- 3 Tbsp. honey
- 1/4 c. orange juice
- 1 1/2 tsp. oil
- 1 Tbsp. corn meal
- 1 1/4 c. unbleached white flour
- 1 Tbsp. soy flour
- 1 Tbsp. wheat germ
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 1 tsp. grated orange rind
Directions

1Dissolve yeast in lukewarm water with honey.

2Let stand 15 minutes.

3Add orange juice and oil.

4Pour liquid over mixture of blended dry ingredients.

5Mix well.

6Dough will be quite soft but add a little more flour, if needed.

7Roll out on well floured surface.

8Cut into biscuits and place on oiled baking sheet; let rise until double.

9Bake in a 350° oven for about 20 minutes.

10Top with Orange Icing.
