  • 4 cups pre-sifted flour
  • 1 23 cups sugar
  • 6 teaspoons double action baking powder
  • 12 teaspoon salt
  • 1 orange, grinded to make one cup skin and all
  • 1 12 cups milk
  • 2 eggs
  • 12 cup cooking oil

Directions

    Beat eggs in mixing bowl until thick.

    Add oil and beat for one minute.

    Combine flour, salt, sugar and baking powder; add to egg mixture.

    Add one cup orange.

    On low speed of mixer add milk slowly.

    Put mixer to medium speed and beat 2 minutes.

    Divide into 3 greased and floured one pound loaf pans and allow to stand 20 minutes before baking.

    Place in a 400* oven until loaves rise to the top of the pan and start to brown slightly, turn the oven to 300* and score tops once lengthwise with the point of a sharp knife.

    Bake about 20 minutes more or until tests done.

    Allow to stand in pan 10 minutes.
