  • 1 c. butter
  • 2 c. sugar
  • 4 eggs
  • 1 Tbsp. grated orange rind
  • 1 tsp. soda
  • 1 c. buttermilk
  • 3 c. flour

Directions

    Cream butter and sugars, add eggs one at a time, beat after each addition.

    Add orange rind.

    Mix soda in buttermilk.

    Add alternately with flour to creamed mixture.

    Bake in 2 (9-inch) greased cake pans at 350° until cake is done.
