Orange Carrots

  • 1 lb. carrots
  • 1 orange, peeled and cut into bite size pieces
  • 1/2 tsp. orange rind, grated (fresh)
  • 2 Tbsp. margarine
  • 2 to 3 Tbsp. dark corn syrup

Directions

    Slice carrots into rounds or sticks.

    Add carrots to boiling salted water.

    Cover and cook until tender; drain.

    Add orange pieces, rind, margarine and syrup.

    Place over low heat.

    Stir gently until margarine is melted and orange is heated.

    Serves 4 to 6.
