- 1 c. vegetable shortening
- 1/2 stick butter
- 2 3/4 c. sugar
- 5 eggs
- 3 c. all-purpose flour
- 1 c. Orange Crush
- 1 tsp. orange flavoring
- 1 tsp. vanilla
Directions

1Thoroughly cream together vegetable shortening, butter and sugar.

2Add eggs, one at a time, mixing well after each addition. Add orange drink alternately with sifted flour.

3Add flavorings. Put into greased and floured 9-inch tube pan and bake at 325° for 1 hour and 10 minutes, or until cake tests done.

4Cool 10 minutes. Remove from pan.

5Cool before icing.

6Top with icing.
