  • 1 pkg Duncan Hines Butter Yellow Cake Mix
  • 1 1/2 box xxxxx sugar
  • juice of 2 lemons
  • juice of 2 oranges
  • grate rind of lemons and oranges

Directions

    Bake mix as directed in mini muffin pans.

    When cakes are done, dip them in a glaze made with the sugar, juices, and grated rind.

    Place on rack to cool and drain

    Gems can be rolled in confectioner's sugar as an option but are also delicious without this step

    Freeze well. Store in tight tin or refrigerate.
