Orange Nut Bread

Ingredients
- 2 c. all-purpose flour
- 3/4 c. sugar
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/2 tsp. baking soda
- 1 beaten egg
- 1 Tbsp. finely shredded orange peel
- 3/4 c. orange juice
- 1/4 tsp. finely shredded lemon peel
- 2 Tbsp. lemon juice
- 2 Tbsp. cooking oil
- 1/2 c. coarsely chopped walnuts
Directions

1In bowl, stir together flour, sugar, salt and soda.

2In separate bowl, combine egg, orange peel, orange juice, lemon peel, lemon juice and oil.

3Add to dry ingredients, stirring just until moistened.

4Fold in nuts.

5Put batter into a greased loaf pan. Bake at 350° for about 50 to 60 minutes.

6Cool in pan at least 10 minutes.

7Freezes beautifully.

8Makes 1 loaf.
