  • 3 c. unsifted all-purpose flour
  • 3/4 c. sugar
  • 3 tsp. baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 3/4 c. chopped nuts
  • 1 1/2 Tbsp. shredded orange peel
  • 1 egg
  • 1/4 c. orange juice
  • 1 1/4 c. milk
  • 3 Tbsp. salad oil

    Preheat oven to 350°.

    Measure dry ingredients into large bowl. Stir.

    Grease two bread pans.

    Beat egg, juice, milk and oil.

    Stir into flour mixture until blended.
