  • 3 eggs
  • 3/4 c. dark corn syrup
  • 2 oranges, pureed (2/3 c.)
  • 2 Tbsp. butter or margarine, melted
  • 1 Tbsp. vanilla
  • 1/2 c. sugar
  • 1/8 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 tsp. grated orange rind
  • 1 c. pecans
  • 1 unbaked (9-inch) pastry shell

    Beat eggs in large bowl; stir in remaining ingredients except pastry shell.

    Pour into pastry shell.

    Bake in 400° oven for 15 minutes; reduce heat to 350° and continue to bake 35 to 45 minutes longer.

    Filling will be moist in center.
