  • juice and grated rind of 1 orange
  • 1 c. sugar
  • 1 c. milk
  • 3 egg yolks (save egg whites)
  • 1 Tbsp. cornstarch
  • 1 Tbsp. butter
  • 2 pie crusts (unbaked)

Directions

    Mix sugar and cornstarch; add butter and egg yolks, mixing well.

    Add milk, juice and rind.

    Bake in crust until set at 350°. Use the egg white for meringue.

    Makes 2 small pies or 1 large.
