Ingredients

  • 1 c. scalded milk
  • 1/2 c. margarine
  • 1/3 c. sugar
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1 pkg. yeast
  • 1/4 c. warm water
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/4 c. orange juice
  • 2 Tbsp. orange rind
  • 5 c. flour

Directions

    Mix scalded milk, margarine, sugar and salt together and cool. Dissolve yeast in warm water. When milk mixture is cool, add remaining ingredients and mix well. Knead for 5 to 10 minutes. Let rise (approximately 2 hours).

    Punch down.

    Form into desired shape and let rise again. Bake 15 to 20 minutes.
