Ingredients

  • 2 c. sugar
  • 2 c. light corn syrup
  • 1 6 oz. can frozen orange juice concentrate, undiluted
  • pinch salt
  • 1 c. half and half cream
  • 1/2 c. butter or margarine

Directions

    In a saucepan, combine first four ingredients.

    Cook and stir over medium heat until sugar is dissolved.
  3. 3
    Bring to a rapid boil and cook until candy thermometer reads 245°.

    Add cream and butter.

    Stir until mixture reaches 245° again.

    Pour into a greased pan and cool.

    When cool enough to handle, roll into 1 1/2 inch logs or 1 inch balls.

    Wrap individually in foil.

    Twist ends.
