- 2 Oranges
- 1/2 cup butter, softened
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1/4 cup cocoa
- 3 eggs
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 cup self raising flour
- 1/2 cup chopped nuts
- 1 tbsp brown sugar
Directions

1Preheat oven at 180 degrees C/ 350 degrees F.In a large bowl combine butter, sugar and cocoa and beat until creamy.

2Next add the eggs, one at a time, and last the vanilla essence.

3Gently stir in the flour until well incorporated.

4Next fold in the chopped nuts and the zest of both oranges.

5(You may substitute nuts with chocolate chips.)

6Line and grease an 8-inch pan.

7Sprinkle the brown sugar.

8Next peel and slice the oranges and arrange them on the pan.

9Pour the batter and bake for 30-35 minutes.

10Once you take it out, let it cool for about an hour.

11Carefully turn it upside down and enjoy!
