- 1 quart white wine vinegar
- 8 sprigs fresh oregano
Directions

1Wash and dry oregano.

2In a large saucepan, bring vinegar to a boil over high heat.

3Add four sprigs of oregano to vinegar.

4Remove from heat.

5Let cool, uncovered, until vinegar reaches room temperature.

6Remove oregano and pour vinegar into hot, sterlized bottle.

7Add remaining oregano sprigs and seal bottle tightly.

8Leave in a cool, dark place for at least one week before using.
