Oreo Cookie Freeze

Ingredients

  • 28 Oreo cookies
  • 1/4 c. margarine, melted
  • 1/2 gallon coffee ice cream
  • 1 c. sugar
  • 1 (5 1/2 oz.) can evaporated milk
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 4 (1 oz.) squares semi-sweet chocolate
  • 6 Tbsp. margarine
  • 1 (12 oz.) carton Cool Whip
  • 1 c. chopped pecans

Directions

    Crush Oreos and mix with margarine.

    Spread into 9 x 13-inch pan and freeze.

    Soften ice cream and spread on top of crust. Re-freeze.

    Mix sugar, evaporated milk, vanilla, chocolate and margarine.

    Boil 1 minute.

    Cool.

    Pour over ice cream and re-freeze.

    Mix Cool Whip with nuts and spread over chocolate. Keep frozen until ready to serve.
