- 4 c. celery
- 1 (5 oz.) can water chestnuts
- 1 (10 1/2 oz.) can cream of chicken soup
- 1/4 c. diced pimento
- 2 Tbsp. melted oleo
- 1/4 c. toasted almonds
- 1/2 c. bread crumbs
Directions

1Cook in small amount of salted boiling water the celery, cut into 1-inch slices.

2Cook until crisp done (about 8 minutes). Drain.

3Add water chestnuts, drained cream of chicken soup and pimento.

4Pour into buttered casserole.

5Combine melted butter, almonds and bread crumbs.

6Sprinkle casserole.

7Bake for 35 minutes in a 350° oven.
