- 1 1/2 lb. ground beef
- 1 clove garlic, crushed
- 1 medium onion, chopped (1/2 c.)
- 1 can condensed tomato soup
- 1/4 c. water
- 2 Tbsp. brown sugar
- 1 tsp. salt
- 2 tsp. chili powder
- 1 (15 oz.) can kidney beans with liquid
- 1 (5 oz.) can water chestnuts, sliced and drained
- 1 cylinder refrigerated biscuits
- grated Parmesan cheese
Directions

1Brown ground beef in large saucepan or skillet.

2Add garlic and onion; cook a few minutes.

3Stir in tomato soup, water, brown sugar, salt and chili powder, mixing well.

4Add beans with juice and water chestnuts.

5Mix all ingredients and heat about 5 minutes.

6Pour into a 2-quart casserole.

7Open biscuits; flatten slightly and arrange around outside edges of dish on top of mixture, overlapping if necessary.

8Brush biscuits with melted butter; sprinkle with grated Parmesan cheese.

9Bake at 350° for 15 to 18 minutes, until biscuits brown.
