  • 3 13 cups water
  • 1 23 cups sugar
  • 1 cup lemon juice (about four lemons worth)

    Boil the lemon zest, water, and sugar in a small saucepan for about five minutes.

    Take off the heat, and stir in the lemon juice.

    Put in refrigerator until cold.
