Ingredients

  • 3 cup chicken broth
  • 1 cup orzo, pasta
  • 4 slice bacon, cooked & crumbled, set aside
  • 1/2 cup diced onion
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 1/2 each red & green peppers, diced
  • 6 diced fresh mushrooms
  • 1 salt & pepper, to taste

Directions

    In a pot, bring broth to a boil, cook pasta til al dente.

    Cook bacon in a large skillet, crumble, set aside
  3. 3
    Drain off bacon grease but leave about 3 tbls, add onions, garlic, peppers & mushrooms saute til tender.

    Add pasta into the vegtables, stir add crumbled bacon.
