  • 3 lb. beef stew meat
  • 3 onions, sliced
  • 5 carrots, sliced
  • 3 potatoes, diced
  • 1 can peas, drained
  • 1/2 c. tomato soup
  • 1/2 c. cream of celery soup
  • 1 bay leaf
  • salt and pepper
  • 1/2 can liquid from peas

    Sift approximately 3 1/2 cups flour into all ingredients in large baking pot.

    Cover tightly with foil or use lid if ovenproof. Bake 5 hours at 275°.
