  • 2 1/2 lb. stew beef
  • 2 cans tomato soup
  • 1 large onion
  • 6 to 7 potatoes
  • 4 to 5 carrots
  • flour
  • salt and pepper
  • 3 c. water

    Mix flour, salt and pepper.

    Roll stew beef in flour mixture and brown.

    Drain.

    Put in a large casserole dish.

    Add onion, tomato soup and water.

    Bake at 350° for 1 hour and 45 minutes; then add potatoes and carrots.

    Bake 45 minutes longer.
