- 2 lb. stew meat
- 1 c. tomatoes
- 1 Tbsp. sugar
- 1 diced onion
- 1 1/2 tsp. salt
- 6 small carrots
- 3 medium potatoes
- 1/2 c. celery, chopped
- 3 tsp. tapioca
- 1 slice bread, cubed
- 1 c. water
Directions

1Cut carrots in strips; peel and quarter potatoes.

2Combine all ingredients (do not brown meat).

3Put into a 3-quart casserole. Bake, covered in 325° oven for 3 1/2 hours.
