- 5 to 10 lb. brisket
- seasoned salt
- garlic salt
- red and black pepper
- apple cider vinegar
- water
Directions

1Sprinkle both sides of brisket with liberal amounts of salts and peppers to taste.

2Bake, fat side up, in a shallow pan at 350° for 30 minutes.

3Pour apple cider vinegar over meat.

4Bake for 2 1/2 to 3 1/2 hours more.

5As juices bake away, add water to bottom of pan and more vinegar over meat.

6Add more water to drippings when finished to make gravy.

7Best cooked ahead, sliced across the grain and reheated in drippings later.

8Gets better every time reheated.
