  • 8 qt. popped corn (microwave popcorn may be used, but not buttery popcorn)
  • 2 c. brown sugar
  • 1 c. margarine
  • 1/2 c. white syrup
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1 tsp. soda
  • 1 tsp. vanilla

Directions

    Combine sugar, margarine, syrup and salt and boil 5 minutes. Add soda and vanilla and pour over popcorn, stirring thoroughly. Put on lightly greased cookie sheets and bake for 1 hour at 200°. Turn every 15 minutes.
