- 1 c. brown sugar
- 1/2 c. butter
- 1/2 c. light Karo syrup
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/2 tsp. soda
- 15 to 18 c. popped corn
Directions

1Mix brown sugar, butter, syrup and salt in saucepan.

2Cook over medium heat until bubbles appear at edges.

3At that point, cook 5 minutes more.

4Stir in 1/2 teaspoon baking soda until foamy.

5Have 15 to 18 cups of popped corn in buttered roaster pan.

6Pour caramel mixture over corn; mix well.

7Bake at 200° for 1 hour, stirring every 15 minutes.

8After baking 1 hour, continue stirring until cool to prevent sticking together.
