- 2 c. brown sugar
- 1 c. butter
- 1/2 c. dark corn syrup
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1/2 tsp. soda
- 5 qt. popcorn, popped
- 1 c. dry roasted peanuts
Directions

1Combine syrup, sugar, butter and salt.

2Boil 5 minutes. Remove from heat. Stir in soda.

3Pour immediately over corn and nuts in large roasting pan.

4Bake in slow oven, 250° for one hour. Stir every 15 minutes.

5Cool and store in tightly covered container.

6Also freezes.

7Yields 5 quarts.
