  • 20 c. popped corn
  • 1 c. brown sugar
  • 1/2 c. butter
  • 1/4 c. corn syrup
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 tsp. soda
  • peanuts or walnuts (optional)

Directions

    Heat sugar, butter, corn syrup and salt over medium-high heat until boil, stirring constantly.

    Then cook 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.

    Remove from heat; stir in soda.

    Pour over corn and nuts.

    Mix thoroughly, then bake 1 hour in 200° oven, stirring every 15 minutes.
