  • 2 1/2 to 3 lb. broiler-fryer chicken, cut up
  • 1/4 c. shortening
  • 1/4 c. butter or margarine
  • 1/2 c. all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1 tsp. paprika
  • 1/4 tsp. pepper

    Heat oven to 425°.

    Wash chicken and pat dry.

    In oven, melt shortening and butter in 13 x 9 x 2-inch baking pan.
