  • 1 (3 or 3 1/2 lb.) chicken, cut up for frying
  • 1 egg
  • 1/4 c. milk
  • 1 tsp. prepared mustard
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 c. crumbs (crushed Post Toasties or Rice Chex)
  • 2 Tbsp. vegetable oil

Directions

    Cut up chicken as for frying.

    Combine egg, milk, mustard, salt and pepper.

    Stir until well blended.

    Place the cut up chicken in this mixture and stir until all pieces are well coated. Set aside.

    Crush enough Post Toasties or Rice Chex to make 2 cups of crumbs.
