  • 1/4 c. butter or margarine
  • 3/4 c. flour
  • 2 tsp. paprika
  • 1 cut-up fryer
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 tsp. pepper

Directions

    About 1 hour before serving, melt butter in a 425° oven in a pan large enough to lay pieces in a single layer.

    Combine flour, salt, paprika and pepper and coat chicken evenly.

    Place skin-side down in melted butter.

    Bake for 30 minutes, turn and bake 15 minutes longer or until chicken is done.
