- 2 lb. round steak
- 2 Tbsp. flour
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 1/4 c. oil
- 1 (16 oz.) can undrained tomatoes, chopped
- 1/2 c. chopped celery
- 1/2 c. onions
- 1/2 c. carrots
- 1/2 tsp. soy sauce
Directions

1With meat mallet (or hammer), pound steak to 1/4-inch thickness. Dredge the steak in the flour and salt. Brown steak in hot oil in large skillet.

2When brown, remove from skillet.

3Place in greased baking dish, 13 x 9 x 2-inch.

4Set aside. Add 2 tablespoons flour to pan (skillet) drippings.

5Cook 1 minute on low heat.

6Add tomatoes, celery, carrots and onions.

7Cook until thick.

8Stir in soy sauce.

9Cover and bake at 350° for 1 hour and 15 minutes or until tender.
