  • 2 lb. stew beef, cut in cubes
  • potatoes, cubed large
  • celery and carrots, chunks
  • onions
  • 1 1/2 Tbsp. sugar
  • 1/2 Tbsp. Minute tapioca
  • salt and pepper

Directions

    Pour 1 package Lipton onion soup mix over all.

    Cover casserole with heavy foil, then lid, to seal.

    Bake at 250° for 5 hours or bake at 350° for 3 hours (I found 5 hours is best).

    Do not open to look in while baking!
