- 2 large carrots, sliced
- 2 potatoes, diced (optional)
- 1 large onion, chopped or 2 Tbsp. dried minced onions
- 1 c. peas, frozen
- 1 c. green beans, frozen
- 3 c. hot water with 3 bouillon cubes (chicken or beef)
- 2 (14 1/2 oz.) cans stewed or chopped tomatoes
- 3 Tbsp. tapioca
- 1 Tbsp. brown sugar
- 1/3 c. bread crumbs
- 1 bay leaf
- 1/2 c. red wine
- salt and pepper
Directions

1Use heavy roaster or Dutch oven with tight-fitting lid.
