- 2 lb. beef stewing meat
- 1/4 c. flour
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1/4 tsp. pepper
- 2 Tbsp. Wesson oil
- 5 carrots, cut into 1-inch
- 3 potatoes, cube to 1-inch
- 1 can (14 oz.) whole tomatoes
- 1 1/2 c. water
- 1 (1 3/8 oz.) pkg. dry onion soup
Directions

1Cut meat into 1-inch cubes, coat with flour, salt and pepper, toss with oil in 3 qt. casserole.

2Bake 400° uncovered for 30 minutes.

3Stir once.

4Add remaining ingredients.

5Cover and bake at 375° for 2 hours or until meat is tender.

6Makes 6 - 8 servings.
