- 3 c. water
- 1 c. sugar
- 1 tsp. yeast
- 1 Tbsp. salt
- 1/2 c. melted shortening
- 2 eggs
- about 10 c. flour
Directions

1Start about 5 p.m.

2Dissolve sugar in warm water.

3When cool, add yeast and stir.

4Add salt and beaten egg, then 5 cups flour and beat well.

5Next add shortening and knead in other 5 cups of water.

6Cover pan with foil and put in warm place.

7Knead down every hour.

8Put in pans at 10 p.m.
-
9Cover with cloth and plastic. Bake the next morning at 8 a.m. at 350° for 15 minutes.
