- 1 large minced onion
- 1 tablespoon butter
- 12 lb corned beef
- 34 cup well drained sauerkraut (packed)
- 34 cup grated swiss cheese
- 23 cup mayonnaise
- 4 ounces cream cheese
- 2 tablespoons coarse grain mustard
- 12 teaspoon dill weed
- fresh ground black pepper
- 1 teaspoon caraway seed
Directions

1Brown the onion in the butter in a large heavy skillet over medium heat.

2While the onion is cooking, process the corned beef and sauerkraut in the food processor until finely chopped.

3Add the cooked onion and process again.

4Add the cheese, mayonnaise, cream cheese, mustard, dill, and pepper and process until smooth.

5Spoon into a serving bowl and sprinkle with the caraway seeds.

6Cover and chill for at least 2 hours and up to 2 days in advance.
