  • 1 tsp. dry yeast
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 3 c. water
  • 1 c. sugar
  • 1/2 c. shortening (can use 1 stick margarine)
  • 2 eggs, well beaten
  • 8 c. flour

    Mix late in afternoon.

    Knead down throughout the evening. Mold into rolls before going to bed.

    Cover well.

    Let rise overnight.

    Bake in the morning at 375° until done.
