Ingredients

  • 1 can peas, drained
  • 1 can French-style green beans, drained (I prefer to cook and drain frozen French-style beans)
  • 1 can whole kernel corn, drained
  • 1 c. celery, chopped
  • 1/2 c. green pepper, chopped
  • 1 medium onion, chopped
  • 1 (2 oz.) jar pimentos, cut
  • salt to taste
  • 1 1/2 c. sugar (Equal can be used with no difference in taste; 24 packets equal 1 c. sugar)
  • 1 c. vinegar
  • 1/2 c. oil
  • 2 tsp. water or 2 tsp. corn juice
  • 1/2 tsp. paprika

Directions

    Mix vegetables and salt together.

    Combine sugar, vinegar, oil, water or corn juice and paprika.

    Mix until sugar or Equal is dissolved.

    Pour liquid mixture over vegetables.

    Chill overnight.
