- 1 pt. oysters (undrained)
- 1/2 c. chopped onion
- 1/2 c. chopped celery
- 1/3 c. butter or margarine
- 4 c. milk
- 1 (8 3/4 oz.) can whole kernel corn (undrained)
- 1 c. peeled, diced and cooked potatoes
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/2 tsp. white pepper
- paprika
Directions

1Drain oysters, reserving liquid.

2Saute onion and celery in butter in a large pot until tender.

3Add milk, oyster liquid, corn, potatoes, salt and pepper.

4Cook over low heat, stirring constantly, until thoroughly heated (do not boil).

5Add oysters; simmer 5 to 8 minutes or until edges of oysters curl.

6Sprinkle lightly with paprika.

7Yield:
