- 1 bunch green onions, chopped
- 1 stick butter
- 1/2 c. celery, diced
- 3 toes garlic, minced fine
- 2 bay leaves
- 1/2 tsp. cayenne pepper
- 1/2 c. parsley
- 1 qt. oysters
- 1 1/2 qt. milk
- 1/2 tsp. thyme
Directions

1Melt butter in large pot and add green onions, celery and garlic.

2Cook until clear.

3Add oysters and cook until ends curl (about 10 minutes).

4Add bay leaves, thyme and parsley and stir. Add milk, cayenne pepper and, if needed, salt (oysters may be salty).

5Bring to a slow boil and turn off immediately.
