- 4 doz. fresh oysters with plenty of juice
- 2 sprigs parsley, chopped fine
- 6 green onions, chopped
- 1 tsp. sugar
- 1 qt. rich milk
- 3 Tbsp. butter
- salt and pepper to taste
- 1/2 tsp. garlic powder
Directions

1Drain oysters in a colander.

2Reserve juice.

3Refrigerate until ready to use.

4Saute green onions in butter until tender. Add oyster juice and simmer for 15 minutes.

5Add oysters and simmer until edges begin to curl.

6Add milk, but do not allow milk to boil.

7When milk is scalded, add parsley and other seasonings.
