- 1/2 stick margarine
- 1 pt. fresh oysters
- 3 tsp. Texas Pete
- 1/4 tsp. black pepper
- 2 tsp. salt
- 1/8 tsp. vinegar
- 1 1/2 pt. milk
Directions

1Melt margarine in 3-quart pot; add Texas Pete, salt, pepper and vinegar.

2Mix well.

3Add oysters with juice.

4Simmer at medium heat until edges of oysters curl.

5Add milk while stirring.

6Cook at low heat for 10 minutes, stirring continuously.

7Do not let milk boil!! Serves 4.
