Ingredients

  • Smoked bacon
  • 5 oysters
  • 1 tbsp butter
  • 8 oz broth
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • sniped dill and old bay seasoning for garnish
  • Oyster broth
  • 2 cups 1/2 and 1/2
  • 6 cups heavy cream
  • shot of tabasco
  • oyster juice
  • (makes ~1 quart to serve 4)

Directions

    In a small pan start your butter, bacon and oysters until oysters are cooked lightly. Add cream broth, bring gentl to a boil and simmer about 1 minute. Adjust seasoning. Pour into bowl and garnish.
