- 1 pt. shucked oysters, liquor reserved
- 2 Tbsp. butter or margarine
- generous dash of white pepper
- 1 c. half and half
- 1 c. milk
- oyster crackers
Directions

1In 2-quart saucepan, strain 1 cup oyster liquor.

2Add oysters, butter and pepper.

3Over low heat, cook until oysters curl around the edges.

4In a small saucepan, over medium heat, heat half and half and milk until tiny bubbles form around edges of saucepan. Add to oyster mixture.

5Ladle soup into bowls. Garnish with oyster crackers.
