- 2 c. milk
- 2 c. half and half
- 1/3 c. butter
- 3 c. fresh oysters (undrained)
- 1/4 c. finely chopped onion
- 1 Tbsp. chopped fresh parsley
- salt and pepper to taste
- 1/8 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
- oyster crackers
Directions

1In a large saucepan, combine milk and half and half; heat slowly until just beginning to bubble.

2In a medium saucepan, melt butter.

3Add oysters and onion.

4Cook over low heat for 8 to 10 minutes or until edges of oysters begin to curl.

5Stir oyster mixture, parsley, salt, pepper and Worcestershire sauce into hot milk.

6Heat gently, stirring frequently.

7Be careful and do not boil.

8Serve with oyster crackers.
