- 1-1/2 pints oysters
- salt to taste
- red pepper to taste
- black pepper to taste
- garlic salt to taste
- 6 tablespoon butter
- 3 tablespoon flour
- 3 tablespoon finely chopped onions
- 1/2 cup oyster liquid
- 3 1/2 cups milk
- 6 tablespoons finely chopped green onion
Directions

1Reserve 1/2 cup oyster liquid. Season oysters with salts and peppers; frizzle in their own juice until slightly curled. Set aside.

2Melt butter in saucepan.

3Add flour; blend.

4Add onions; stir until onions are cooked.

5Add oyster liquid.

6Add milk 1 cup at a time, stirring constantly.

7Cook about 10 minutes.

8Add oysters.

9Check for additional seasoning.

10Sprinkle onion on top just before serving.
