- 1 qt. shucked oysters
- butter the size of an egg
- 1 c. sweet milk
- salt and pepper to taste
Directions

1Heat oysters until they are plump and smoking hot.

2Season with salt and pepper.

3Heat milk with butter dropped in it to the boiling point.

4As you take oysters and the milk off stove, pour the 2 together.

5Serve at once in heated bowls with plenty of oyster crackers.
