  • 4 cups stale breadcrumbs
  • 12 teaspoon pepper
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 12 teaspoon marjoram
  • 1 teaspoon poultry seasoning
  • 14 cup finely diced onion
  • 14 cup finely diced celery
  • 3 teaspoons butter
  • 1 cup drained, chopped oyster
  • chicken stock or water

Directions

    In a large pot melt butter over medium heat.

    Add all ingredients except bread and saute for 10 minutes.

    Add bread crumbs and begin to toss with a fork, slowly adding liquid of choice until stuffing is just moist but not soggy.

    Stuff the bird.
